Workstation Account Executive (Silicon Valley)

We are seeking a highly motivated Workstation Account Executive based in the Silicon Valley area to drive growth within key global accounts, with a specific focus on the Technology industry.


As a Workstation Account Executive at Lenovo, you will be responsible for securing net-new business opportunities across targeted global accounts. You will leverage Lenovo's industry-leading portfolio of workstation solutions to help customers improve productivity, collaboration, and innovation while driving revenue and profitability.


This is a client-facing, hunter sales role that requires deep industry expertise, a proven ability to identify and close new business opportunities, and experience engaging executive-level decision-makers. The ideal candidate is a results-driven sales professional with a successful track record of delivering growth and managing complex enterprise sales cycles.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and expand relationships with existing and prospective workstation customers by coordinating sales, opportunity management, marketing, and technical support resources to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Drive net-new customer acquisition and identify opportunities to expand Lenovo workstation business within assigned accounts.
  • Create and execute strategic account and operational plans for workstation products and solutions.
  • Partner with sales and account teams to identify, develop, and close workstation opportunities.
  • Conduct proactive prospecting and cold-calling activities to generate new business and build a strong sales pipeline.
  • Analyze business performance metrics and provide recommendations to drive growth and improve results.
  • Maintain and communicate accurate weekly sales forecasts and business updates to management.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure strong awareness and positioning of Lenovo workstation solutions.
  • Develop and maintain competitive intelligence, including market trends, product positioning, and SWOT analyses.
  • Identify and mitigate business risks through effective planning and execution.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on workstation technologies and solutions for sales, marketing, and partner teams.
  • Deliver regular product roadmap and solution updates to internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Engage with channel partners to accelerate growth and expand market opportunities.


Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of business development, sales, or marketing experience within the IT industry, including hardware and/or software solutions.
  • Proven success in B2B technology sales, with a strong track record of acquiring new business and exceeding revenue goals.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing large, complex enterprise opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate and sell the value of workstation solutions and related technologies.
  • Strong understanding of workstation technologies and their application to customer business needs.
  • Experience selling into or supporting customers within the High-Tech industry.
  • Excellent business analysis and strategic planning skills.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Experience working with channel partners and indirect sales models.
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite executives.
  • Knowledge of workstation use cases across engineering, AI, data science, product design, media and entertainment, or other compute-intensive environments.
  • Familiarity with Lenovo's workstation portfolio and the broader workstation market landscape.
