Description and Requirements

At Lenovo Solutions & Services Group (SSG), we are seeking an experienced and results-driven Transition Delivery Manager to lead customer transitions and complex service implementations across the EMEA region. You will drive delivery excellence, oversee a portfolio of strategic projects, and lead a high-performing team while championing AI-native ways of working.

Reporting to the Director, DWS Delivery - EMEA, you will play a key role in ensuring successful customer outcomes, strengthening operational performance, and advancing Lenovo's services growth strategy.

What You Will Do:

Transition Delivery & Governance

  • Lead end-to-end transition programs across the regional portfolio, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with contracted business and service requirements, while proactively managing scope, risks, dependencies, and commercial considerations.
  • Act as the program lead for strategic and high-profile implementations, driving successful execution while providing oversight, guidance, and quality assurance across all regional transition activities.
  • Own transition governance and delivery excellence, including internal and customer governance reviews, documentation standards, stage-gate controls, and seamless handover to account, contract, and service management teams.
  • Manage escalations and drive resolution, serving as the primary contact for customer and internal issues, identifying root causes, and continuously improving transition methodologies and best practices.
  • Optimize regional resource planning and performance, aligning skills, capabilities, and capacity with active engagements and pre-sales activities while providing data-driven updates and recommendations to senior leadership.

Team Leadership & Capability

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing transition and project management team, overseeing hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance reviews, career development, and employee retention while creating an environment where individuals can thrive.
  • Champion an AI-native way of working, establishing capability expectations, driving continuous learning, coaching team members on AI adoption, and embedding innovative tools and practices into everyday operations.
  • Foster a collaborative culture of continuous improvement, mentoring teams on Lenovo transition and project management best practices, establishing knowledge-sharing frameworks, and driving consistency across the region while partnering with global ASD teams to scale successful approaches.

What You Will Bring:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in IT services, managed services, or outsourcing environments, including significant experience leading customer transitions, transformation programs, or complex service implementations across enterprise customers.

  • Proven people leadership experience with a track record of successfully building, developing, and leading high-performing teams in collaborative, geographically dispersed, and matrixed organizations.
  • Expert program and project management capabilities, including planning, organizing, and delivering large-scale, multi-workstream initiatives from initiation through implementation and operational handover, while managing commercial, contractual, and delivery risks.
  • Deep understanding of transition management methodologies and best practices, with experience across the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, build, testing, deployment, governance, and service readiness.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to act as a trusted liaison between business and IT teams, influence senior leaders, and present confidently to executive-level audiences.
  • Hands-on experience leveraging AI-native ways of working, including the use of agentic AI tools, workflow automation, prompt libraries, knowledge repositories, and AI-driven process improvements that deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of AI governance and operational excellence, including data classification, confidentiality, risk management, human validation, structured documentation, knowledge management, and responsible AI adoption within customer-facing environments.
  • Preferred qualifications include PMP, PRINCE2, PgMP, MSP, PMI-ACP, ITIL, or equivalent certifications; proficiency with data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel and Power BI; experience creating process maps, swim-lane diagrams, and architecture documentation using Visio, Mermaid, or similar tools; expertise with program planning tools such as MS Project; exceptional analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills; the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous situations, influence across global matrix organizations, and travel up to 30% as required.
