Business Area Description
The Lenovo Workplace Services serves as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for End User Managed Services and delivers comprehensive IT support to Customer’s end users. Integrated with our customer’s IT functions and processes, Lenovo Workplace Services performs end to end support, both locally and remotely on behalf of our customers.
Key Objectives of Position
Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and integrations that support (such as ServiceNow, Python, PowerShell, automation, and digital service delivery)
Day-To-Day Tasks
- Develop and maintain back-end services, APIs, and integrations using enterprise platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, AWS, Microsoft automation tools).
- Build and enhance front-end interfaces that enable user self-service, chatbot interaction, and operational dashboards.
- Design and implement automation workflows and scripts to streamline IT operations and service delivery.
- Integrate systems and applications with ITSM and endpoint management tools (e.g., Intune, SCCM).
- Collaborate with data, automation, and operations teams to embed solutions into production environments.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and security through testing, monitoring, and continuous improvement practices.
Key Competencies Needed:
- Advanced customer communication skills, verbal and written.
- Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks (e.g., JavaScript, Python, low-code/high-code platforms such as ServiceNow).
- Experience with API development, system integrations, and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of data engineering and analytics (data pipelines, ETL, data lakes, AWS/Azure ecosystems).
- Experience with observability and analytics tools for monitoring and optimization.
- Ability to translate business problems into analytical models and AI solutions.
- Applies advanced principles, theories, concepts, and technologies, as well as knowledge from related disciplines, to solve problems and deliver solutions.
Candidate Pre-Requisites
Previous Experience:
- Proven experience as a Back-End, Front-End, or Full-Stack Developer in enterprise environments.
- Exposure to AI, data analytics, or automation use cases is a strong plus.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Certifications in AI/ML, Data Science, or Cloud platforms are preferred.
