Motorola Mobility, a Lenovo company, is looking for a
Sales Operations Specialist to join our team in Milan, Italy. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity ideally suited for an early-career professional who enjoys working with data, supporting business operations, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders in a dynamic environment. The role supports Motorola's Go-to-Market organization in Italy and works closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, distributors, and customers. This position follows Lenovo's hybrid working model, combining office and remote work.
Key Responsibilities
• Support sales operations activities through accurate order management, data maintenance, and process execution.
• Maintain and update information within internal systems, ensuring data quality and consistency.
• Prepare regular reports and analyses to support business planning, operational decision-making, and performance tracking.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to support Go-to-Market initiatives.
• Act as a point of contact for distributors and customers regarding promotions, claims, and operational inquiries.
• Monitor and support rebate, promotional, and administrative processes to ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Contribute to process improvements and support the adoption of efficient tools and working methods.
• Partner with EMEA Operations teams and internal stakeholders to resolve operational challenges and support business objectives.
Position Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Previous experience in sales operations, business support, customer service, finance, distribution, or a similar business environment is advantageous but not required.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work confidently with data, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI, Excel macros, Copilot, or AI-based productivity tools.
• Advanced English is required; Italian language proficiency is required for daily interaction with local stakeholders and customers.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across functions and teams.
• Demonstrated adaptability, willingness to learn, and a proactive approach to problem solving.
