Description and Requirements

Executive Assistant & Project Manager
Office of the VP & Chief Commercial Officer Europe
Location: Stuttgart, Germany
We are looking for a highly reliable, proactive and technology-minded Executive Assistant & Project Manager to support the VP & Chief Commercial Officer Europe.

This role represents the transition from a traditional Executive Assistant position into a Business Partner & Project Manager role. Executive support remains an important foundation, but the role goes significantly further.

We are looking for someone who thinks ahead, takes ownership, independently drives projects and gets things done. This is a hands-on role with significant responsibility, autonomy and the opportunity to shape how we work.
This is not a Chief of Staff or Strategy Role. The focus is on execution, project management, coordination and turning leadership priorities into action. As AI, automation and digital tools continue to transform the way we work, the role will increasingly focus on project ownership, business coordination and higher-value responsibilities, while continuing to provide excellent executive support.
What You Will Do
Executive Support
  • Act as a trusted partner and extension of the executive office, anticipating priorities and needs.
  • Prepare executive briefings, presentations, communications and meeting materials.
  • Coordinate leadership meetings, workshops, customer engagements and executive events.
  • Manage calendars, travel and expenses with a high level of reliability and attention to detail.
  • Build strong relationships across leadership teams and key stakeholders.
Project Ownership & Business Coordination
  • Independently lead selected projects and initiatives from planning through execution and follow-up.
  • Coordinate stakeholders, actions, milestones and deliverables across teams and functions.
  • Turn discussions and leadership priorities into clear actions and ensure follow-through until completion.
  • Maintain transparency on priorities, progress, dependencies and open actions.
  • Support cross-functional business initiatives and help identify and remove execution barriers.
  • Take ownership and actively drive topics forward rather than simply coordinating or administering them.
AI & New Ways of Working
  • Actively use AI, automation and digital tools to simplify and improve how the executive office operates.
  • Identify activities and processes that can be automated, simplified or handled more efficiently with technology.
  • Leverage productivity gains to take on greater project ownership and higher-value responsibilities.
  • Continuously explore new ways of working and help evolve the role as technology and business needs develop.
What We Are Looking For
  • Experience in Executive Assistance, Business Support, Project Management or a comparable role.
  • Motivation to develop beyond a traditional EA position into a broader Business Partner & Project Management role.
  • A strong ownership mindset, with the ability to work independently and proactively drive topics forward.
  • The ability to anticipate needs and turn ideas and priorities into action.
  • A highly reliable, structured and detail-oriented working style, combined with a pragmatic and hands-on approach.
  • Confidence working with senior executives and multiple stakeholders in an international environment.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills across cultures, functions and countries.
  • Sound judgment, professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
  • A strong interest in AI, digital technologies and innovation and curiosity to explore new ways of working.
Experience & Skills
  • Relevant experience supporting senior executives in an international business environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in project coordination or project management, including stakeholder management and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365, particularly PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and Excel.
  • Strong interest in AI, automation and digital productivity tools.
  • Excellent communication, planning and organizational skills.
  • Fluend in German and English, both written and spoken.
What Success Looks Like
In this role, you will:
  • Create structure and transparency in a fast-moving business environment.
  • Stay one step ahead and proactively solve problems.
  • Drive selected projects and initiatives independently from planning to completion.
  • Ensure leadership priorities are translated into clear actions and followed through.
  • Use AI and technology to improve efficiency and impact.
  • Enable leadership to focus on customers, growth, strategy and people.
  • Become a trusted partner across the European leadership organization.
What Lenovo Offers
  • A multitude of professional and personal development opportunities.
  • An open and flexible work environment within one of the world’s leading technology companies.
  • Flat structures, fast decision-making processes and a strong focus on customer requirements.
  • An international team with a strong focus on diversity and inclusion.
  • An attractive compensation package.
  • And a lot of fun: we like to celebrate our successes!
What Makes This Role Different
This is an opportunity for someone who wants to move beyond the traditional Executive Assistant scope.
You will combine executive support with real project ownership, business coordination and hands-on execution. You will have the opportunity to shape your role, introduce new ways of working and gradually take on broader responsibilities.
It is not a Chief of Staff position and not a Strategy Role. We are looking for someone who enjoys being close to the business, connects the dots, takes ownership and makes things happen.
Career Development
The role is designed to grow with the person.
As AI, automation and new ways of working continue to transform executive support, there is a clear opportunity to progressively expand responsibilities into project management, business coordination and independent project ownership.
For the right person, this role offers a strong platform to develop beyond a traditional EA career path while gaining exposure to senior leadership, customers, partners and teams across Europe.
The position is based in our Stuttgart office and requires regular in-person collaboration with the VP & Chief Commercial Officer Europe and the leadership team.
