What role will you play?

In this leadership role, you will oversee a high performing team to evaluate emerging technology risks and trends and develop appropriate mitigation strategies. You will use your ability to build strong relationships to collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure a holistic approach to technology risk management.

As a strong leader you will foster a culture of innovation within your team to identify and implement new practices that will improve risk outcomes in a sustainable manner, and drive initiatives that will enhance risk outcomes such as automation of controls and assurance. You will continually evolve your team to remain a modern and leading risk organisation.

What you offer

• Ability to lead a team that enables the Technology division to meet the requirements of Macquarie’s Operational Risk Management Framework, working in partnership with Line 2 and 3 colleagues in the Risk Management Group
• A broad knowledge of technology including cyber security, public cloud, modern development practices, architecture principles, etc
• Ability to develop a strong understanding of Macquarie’s technology environment across our diverse business lines to assess and provide risk insight and advice to senior executives 
• Ability to oversee effective risk management activity across the Technology division, increasing the maturity of risk and controls consciousness
• Demonstrated senior leadership skills with the ability to develop and mentor a global team Technology risk professionals with diverse experiences and foster an entrepreneurial, collaborative, positive and inclusive environment where continuous learning is encouraged.
