Makena Capital Management, LLC was formed in 2005 by senior executives from the Stanford Management Company and leading practitioners from elite North American endowments and foundations. We provide investment expertise, scale, and premier investment access to our client base of multigenerational pools of capital, including endowments, foundations, family offices, pensions and sovereign wealth funds. Alternative and private asset investing lies at the core of our investment process; we believe alternative and private assets play a key role in preserving and growing capital over a long time horizon by diversifying risk and return streams.
