Do you want to do work that matters, alongside supportive leaders who will help you grow faster than you ever thought possible? Are you a creative problem-solver who is energized by challenges? You’ve come to the right place.

Who You'll Work With

McKinsey is a management consulting firm that helps leading organisations improve their performance. We work with private companies and public-sector bodies in the areas of strategy, operations, organisation and technology. The Tel Aviv office was founded 24 years ago, it is one of the smallest McKinsey offices across over 65 countries. With its thriving Tech industry, we work closely with start-ups and large corporate clients, in addition to various other sectors and industries.
Our office reflects this range of sectors through the diverse backgrounds and passions of our Partners and Consultants and the breadth of our work.
There is a strong community feel across the office, a true sense of caring and plentiful opportunities to connect and work closely in a supportive team environment.
In 2021 the Tel Aviv office integrated with the much larger London office. While the culture and family feel of a smaller office remains, the collaboration allows for more client and internal development opportunities and support.

Your impact within our firm

The role of the Executive Assistant is to proactively provide senior Executive Assistant support to two Partners within a large professional services organisation. EAs report day-to-day operational issues to an EA Team Leader, who is also a sounding board and confidant. All EAs are managed by the EA Manager.
As part of your role, your future responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and managing intricate travel arrangements and itineraries for very busy schedules, keeping in mind the priorities of the Partners.
  • Prioritizing and navigating a busy inbox, ensuring timely responses.
  • Producing and proof-reading high-quality correspondence, documents, packs, and presentations when required.
  • Screening and handling calls and correspondence proactively, responsibly, and professionally, with an understanding of Partner priorities.
  • Quickly developing strong relationships with Partners, EA colleagues, and other members of the firm.
  • Liaising effectively and efficiently with clients, teams, and other contacts.
  • Collaborating with EAs in a 'cluster' team environment.
  • Providing detailed and clear handback notes to ensure seamless Partner cover/support at all times.
  • Monitoring Partner emails and responding as appropriate.
  • Undertaking ad hoc project work, client events, and internal conferences based on Partner needs.
  • Handling additional administrative responsibilities, such as maintaining records, expenses, timesheets, and contact databases.
  • Pushing for self-development by identifying and pursuing self-defined development goals, attending relevant training, and addressing any identified development areas, including participation in EA and firm initiatives.

Your qualifications and skills

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Degree level and/or secretarial qualification preferred
