Who You'll Work With

You will be a member of the Client Analytics team at PriceMetrix. Client Analytics shapes and performs a variety of data analysis, benchmarking, research, and thought leadership functions to support our clients and colleagues. The team engages direct-to-client, supports consulting client-service teams, and closely collaborates with our Client Success team for client deliverables and engagements.
PriceMetrix is a prominent entity within McKinsey & Company’s Banking Practice which stands as the premier provider of practice management software and benchmarks for wealth management firms across North America. Leveraging advanced analytics and industry benchmarking, PriceMetrix empowers financial advisors and their firms to enhance their client experience and effectively drive business growth.
Our PriceMetrix team is headquartered in downtown Toronto. We operate within a collaborative team environment where you'll work closely with intelligent, engaging colleagues who are committed to delivering exceptional performance. In this role, you will report directly to a Senior Asset Leader.

Your impact within our firm

In this role, you’ll leverage and analyze PriceMetrix’s wealth management and pricing datasets to assist in proactive data-backed storytelling, generating recurring reports, and shaping custom advisory opportunities.
Custom advisory services spans multiple client-facing benchmarking and diagnostic capabilities, including pricing and growth strategies, across all product-, account-, and client-types. The role requires strong technical, analytical, project management, communication, and mentoring skills to be successful.

Your qualifications and skills

  • 3+ years of experience in shaping custom and recurring data analytics capabilities and content creation; experience in wealth management or banking preferred
  • Strong understanding of industry trends and proven track record of conceptualizing new analytical frameworks for quantifiable thought leadership, content, and visualizations
  • Experience designing and delivering both recurring and custom analytical solutions, ensuring alignment with client needs, industry trends, and best practices
  • Entrepreneurial mindset to shape innovative concepts and mentor team of experienced analysts
  • Ability to communicate technical insights to less technical stakeholders to influence decisions and recommend strategies
  • Strong prioritization, organizational, and project management skills to navigate multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Strong critical thinking and QA skills to ensure accuracy and reliability of findings across teams
  • Expertise in data transformation, statistical concepts, and model building
  • Proficiency in building and maintaining SQL code and Excel for data manipulation and analysis; experience with other analytical tools is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; advanced degree a plus
