Senior Software Expert Advanced Industries
Job ID: 97460
Do you want to work on complex and pressing challenges—the kind that bring together curious, ambitious, and determined leaders who strive to become better every day? If this sounds like you, you’ve come to the right place.
Your Impact
You will play an active role in advising our clients, especially in the field of embedded software topics within advanced industries. This will include identifying issues, forming hypotheses, designing and conducting analyses, developing recommendations and discussing those with senior members of our clients’ leadership teams.
In this role, you will have the chance to be an entrepreneur, opening-up new opportunities for client impact and reinventing McKinsey’s approaches.
You will be responsible for identifying new client opportunities to advise companies on transformational change and capability building.
You will advise developing consultants and be an important source of intellectual insight in the field of embedded software on client projects, framing business problems in a way that the teams can then execute to drive impact and value.
Advising and collaborating with individual project managers, you will be part of the day-to-day problem solving and will bring expertise directly to senior clients and team members alike.
You will also work in cooperation with our worldwide network of consultants to shape McKinsey’s thinking in this area, continuously developing your own knowledge as well as that of the firm.
Your Growth
You will be based in one of our European offices as part of our Operations Practice and McKinsey Digital focusing on advanced industries.
We assist our clients in solving complex operational challenges. Blending strategic thinking with hands-on practicality, our teams of consultants and experts work to develop and implement operational and digital strategies that solve our clients’ most critical problems.
