McKinsey & Company is looking to hire an experienced professional into our Finance Insights Team (FIT). This is an internal, non-client facing role, though FIT manages itself using the same leading-edge approaches, tools, techniques, and processes that we bring to our clients.
FIT is responsible for leveraging and disseminating performance management reports and tools, digitized in most cases, as a means to identify action-oriented growth opportunities, prioritization, leakage and Opex management to name a few. FIT team members aspire to engage as business partners to various stakeholders including cell leaders, Finance leadership and functional managers leading and/or playing integral roles in planning, forecasting, analyzing of key economic drivers, cost redesign, action-oriented management analysis and various other high-profile special projects to support senior leadership decision-making.
In your role, you’ll identify insights and trends from performance management reports to provide concise synthesis and commentary and assist in follow-on ad hoc data analysis as required. By default, you will leverage and disseminate from a suite of digital offerings when engaged in performance management, forecasting, financial and variance analysis, KPIs or ad-hoc requests, while creatively leveraging the firm’s data warehouse (SAP/SAC) as needed. You will play an integral part in the firms annual planning process including staff size/headcount, Opex, pricing, utilization and client hours growth to name a few. You will engage with cell leaders, working to provide recommendations that help achieve their goals, while being an active and engaged contributor to the broader global FIT community.
Your Growth
Driving lasting impact and building long-term capabilities with our clients is not easy work. You are the kind of person who thrives in a high performance/high reward culture - doing hard things, picking yourself up when you stumble, and having the resilience to try another way forward.
In return for your drive, determination, and curiosity, we'll provide the resources, mentorship, and opportunities you need to become a stronger leader faster than you ever thought possible. Your colleagues—at all levels—will invest deeply in your development, just as much as they invest in delivering exceptional results for clients. Every day, you’ll receive apprenticeship, coaching, and exposure that will accelerate your growth in ways you won’t find anywhere else.
When you join us, you will have:
- Continuous learning: Our learning and apprenticeship culture, backed by structured programs, is all about helping you grow while creating an environment where feedback is clear, actionable, and focused on your development. - Global community: With colleagues across 65+ countries and over 100 different nationalities, our firm’s diversity fuels creativity and helps us come up with the best solutions for our clients. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to learn from exceptional colleagues with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- World-class benefits: On top of a competitive salary (based on your location, experience, and skills), we provide a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, mental health, and vision coverage for you, your spouse/partner, and children.
