Your qualifications and skills
- Undergraduate degree: advanced degree is a plus ideally in a quantitative discipline (statistics, mathematics, economics, operations research, engineering, computer science) or a healthcare discipline
- 4+ years of professional experience in a healthcare environment with end-to-end revenue cycle transformation experience, including patient access, coding, Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDA), billing, A/R Management, and related IT systems
- Ability to synthesize complex issues, engage senior leaders, and drive consensus
- Exposure to managing projects and programs that significantly improve revenue cycle performance, e.g. improved patient collections, reduced denials write-offs, increased accuracy of clinical documentation and coding, accelerated back-end cash collections, etc
- Familiarity with revenue cycle technology assets and concepts, e.g. descriptive statistics, predictive analytics and machine learning
- Strong analytical skills in claims, productivity, access, and volume data to identify trends and opportunities
- Experience sharing your views and recommendations with clients and colleagues
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
