Your Impact

As a Recruiter in our Taipei office, you will take ownership of the delivery of exceptional talent to the firm through cultivation and attraction to assessment and selection.
In this role, you will develop recruitment strategies, build trust-based relationships with internal clients and work to quickly understand their talent needs. You will manage the end-to-end assessment process to ensure success of new hires. You will be responsible for the full candidate life cycle, turning profile requirements into effective sourcing strategies using an appropriate combination of attraction events, direct sourcing and referrals to approach, attract and develop candidate interest.
You will be based in Taipei as part of our Greater China recruiting team. You will be an ambassador for the firm and ensure each candidate receives individualized attention and has a supportive experience as they progress through the interview process. In addition, you will have the opportunity to lead and/or contribute to projects both within the recruiting arena and in other areas you might be interested in across Greater China.

Your qualifications and skills

  • Undergraduate degree required
  • 3+ years of recruiting experience, with knowledge of professional services-based recruiting, a strong plus
  • Strong knowledge of varied assessment methodologies in recruitment processes, local talent market and sourcing channels
  • Excellent organizational capabilities, including the ability to initiate and coordinate multiple tasks independently and see them through to completion
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment; growth mindset and willingness to dive in where priorities require leadership; to look beyond your own responsibilities to help team members with more urgent deadlines as needed
  • Proficient in rational decision making based on data, facts, and logical reasoning
  • Ability to create work product-focused materials / outputs, which may include PowerPoint decks, Excel models, articles, or other written deliverables
  • Ability to build great relationships with candidates, consultants at all levels, and recruiting colleagues
  • Demonstrated initiative and judgment; track record as self-starter; mindful of external reputation; discreet, respectful and caring with confidential information
  • Exceptional time management to meet your responsibilities and be able to work effectively under pressure and navigate with ambiguity
  • Flexibility to deal with last-minute changes; comfortable working with minimal direction; work or attend meetings outside of traditional business hours
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to adjust your style to suit different perspectives and seniority levels, Proficiency and fluency in verbal and written English and mandarin Chinese
