Your qualifications and skills
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering or construction science
- 2+ years of experience on major capital projects for either an owner or contractor, ideally in a project management or project controls role
- Background in consulting, strategy and/or research is a plus
- Modeling capability using Excel and experience managing large datasets with databases
- Distinctive analytical and quantitative skills
- Proven record of leadership in a work setting and/or through extracurricular activities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience with Primavera P6 tool or Generative Scheduling is a bonus
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively - both verbally and in writing
- Ability to travel 50% or more

For new joiners for this role in Canada and/or the United States, including all office locations where the job may be performed, a reasonable estimated range is $140,000 - $143,400 in USD and $147,000 - $151,000 in CAD — to help you understand what you can expect. This reflects our best estimate of the lowest to highest salary for this role at the time of this posting, ensuring you have a clear picture right from the start, though it's important to remember that actual salaries may vary. Factors like your office location, your unique blend of experience and skills, start date and our current organizational needs all play a part in determining the final figure. Certain roles are also eligible for bonuses, subject to McKinsey's discretion and based on factors such as individual and/or organizational performance.
