As a PD Operations Administrator, you’ll support performance review processes by performing administrative tasks and collaborating with the Professional Development team.

Your Impact

Based in our Baku office, you will join our PD team supporting our Professional Development (PD) function in EEMA
You will collaborate closely with PD Managers, PD Specialists, PD Coordinators, administrators, and colleagues across the firm to support PD-related activities for practices and/or office locations across Turkey, Caspian and Central Asia location offices in addition to EEMA Client Capabilities & Network team, while contributing to McKinsey's culture of continuous feedback and development
Your responsibilities will include executing standardized administrative support processes, organizing and managing information such as people data, and collaborating with colleagues to provide seamless support. Key tasks may involve managing committee rosters, ensuring data accuracy, tracking the completion of review-related documents, sending communications to evaluees and evaluators, and organizing day-of review support. You will leverage your organizational and communication skills to coordinate logistics, gather relevant documents, ensure timely and effective communication, and maintain accurate data.
As this is an evolving role within a dynamic team, your responsibilities will expand over time to include centralized administrative and operational tasks that support both the function and the firm.

Your qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience is required
  • 1-3+ years of professional experience in fast-paced environment preferred
  • Able to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy when handling information and following established processes
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Specific experience with excel is preferred
  • Remarkable cooperation skills in intra-team communication, resilience with fast-paced onboarding and change adaptation with limited time on delivery
  • Outstanding organization skills; detail-oriented; able to prioritize and multitask; strong ownership evident through responsibility and accountability for product; highly proactive mindset
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
