Your Impact

As an Operations Specialist, you will work closely with the global ground transportation leader to shape, form, and implement global strategies and firm priorities, ensuring regional alignment with global objectives.
You will oversee a portfolio focusing on the strategic execution and operational implementation of the ground transportation category strategy within the EEMA region.
In this role you will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure alignment with broader organizational goals. You will engage and partner with regional and local leaders, cross-functional teams, and key suppliers to drive category excellence and innovation.
As part of the McKinsey Optimize function, you will play a key role in delivering seamless, efficient, and high-quality Ground Transportation solutions, ensuring exceptional experience and colleague safety.

Your qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • 5+ years’ experience managing ground transportation solutions, including Ride-Hail, Black Car, Rental and or Fleet services
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, leveraging data and logical reasoning
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to independently initiate and complete tasks
  • Proficiency in creating high-quality deliverables (e.g., PowerPoint decks, Excel models, written materials)
  • Exceptional time management in a dynamic, autonomous work environment
  • Ability to work in-person in office or non-office settings, including travelling to potentially challenging or less accessible environments as needed (team schedules and office locations may vary)
  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English and local languages, adaptable to diverse audiences and seniority levels
