Your Impact
As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer II, you will join our Managed Cloud Services (MCS) team under Secure Foundations, where you'll work with a global team of skilled engineers to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of the Wave platform, which serves over 700 clients.
Collaborating across time zones and cross-functional teams, you'll play a key role in delivering operational excellence, troubleshooting issues, and driving innovation in a high-expectation environment.
In this role, you'll monitor and maintain systems, analyze data, and implement automation solutions to optimize platform efficiency. Responsibilities include ensuring system stability, resolving operational issues, enhancing processes, and supporting IT-related client conversations. You'll also contribute to compliance efforts, documentation, and continuous improvement while staying updated on emerging technologies.

Your qualifications and skills
- 3+ years of relevant experience with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and propose effective solutions
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk and CloudWatch
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, for automation and data analysis
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS) and their services
- Experience with orchestrating tools such as Kubernetes
- Knowledge of networking principles and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Understanding of security principles and best practices in operational environments
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems, particularly GitHub (e.g., repositories, pull requests). Experience with Jenkins or Concourse is a plus
