Your Impact
As an experienced Senior Software Engineer you will join our backend engineering team.
In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and building scalable, high-performance systems that power our application.
You'll work with modern Python frameworks and AWS infrastructure while mentoring team members and driving technical excellence.

Your qualifications and skills
- 3-6 years of professional software development experience with strong backend focus
- Expert-level proficiency in Python with deep understanding of language features and best practices
- Extensive experience building RESTful APIs with FastAPI and/or Flask
- Strong experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, including query optimization and schema design
- Proven track record of designing and building scalable, distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration
- Production experience with AWS services, specifically ECS, Fargate, S3, SQS, SNS, and SES
- Deep understanding of system design principles, microservices architecture, and design patterns
- Experience with API design, versioning, and documentation
- Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex systems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly
