Do you want to work on complex and pressing challenges—the kind that bring together curious, ambitious, and determined leaders who strive to become better every day? If this sounds like you, you’ve come to the right place.

Your Impact

The Cleansheet Solution is McKinsey's cutting-edge, AI-powered platform designed to provide organizations with deep transparency into the cost structures of products and services.
In this role you will be breaking down costs into their core drivers—such as materials, labor, utilities, overhead, and carbon footprint—the platform empowers smarter design decisions, more effective supplier negotiations, and optimized portfolios.
You will be leveraging curated cost databases, advanced calculation engines, and expert-built models. Cleansheet delivers actionable insights across industries including automotive, electronics, pharmaceuticals, food, services, and capital projects. As a Research Science Analyst, you will develop detailed, bottom-up cost models, conduct rigorous research, and use GenAI-enabled tools to accelerate data gathering and model creation while ensuring accuracy and reliability.
In this role, you will be involved in codifying insights into reusable models, collaborating with clients to refine solutions, and automating data processes to maintain precision and efficiency. You will be combining technical expertise, innovative AI tools, and a deep understanding of manufacturing and procurement economics. The Cleansheet Solution drives cost transparency and optimization, enabling clients to achieve transformative, sustainable outcomes.
