Your Impact

In this role, you will be a key driver of our company’s risk and insurance strategy, serving as a central partner in protecting the organization from complex and evolving risks.
You will lead the management of insurance claims, directly influence financial outcomes and ensure the company’s interests are effectively represented. As part of a lean, high-impact team, you’ll help improve processes and elevate how risk management supports the business. Your work will have visibility with leadership and a direct impact on resilience and operational continuity.
You will work closely with the Risk Insurance Senior Manager and brokers on all lines of business, playing an active role in the renewal strategy process as well as administering the risk management program daily. As a Risk Insurance Specialist, you will assist with invoicing, file management, renewal data collection, preparation, and analyses of underwriting applications.
You will serve as primary internal point of contact for claims, coordinating among carriers, brokers, adjusters, outside counsel, and internal stakeholders. Efficient handling of claims, such as tracking progression of claims and maintaining a good record keeping format and tracking claims expenses for estimating the financial value of each claim.
You will provide functional expertise and assist legal and contract management teams in the review of contracts to ensure insurance coverage is appropriate.
You will handle certificate of insurance requests for vendors and clients and will organize the team’s data files and documents to enable more efficient access to information.

Your qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Professional designations such as ARM, CPCU, CRM or similar are a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in risk management, insurance brokerage, or corporate insurance roles, demonstrating a strong work ethic, initiative, and the ability to operate independently with resourcefulness and responsiveness
  • Strong working knowledge of commercial insurance programs (e.g., Cyber, D&O, Professional Liability, Casualty, etc.)
  • Experience supporting insurance renewals, underwriting data collection, and broker/carrier negotiations
  • Claims management and advocacy, including coordination with adjusters, counsel, and internal stakeholders
  • Exposure to contractual risk transfer and insurance requirements review preferred
  • Experience working with brokers, carriers, TPAs, and external advisors
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across levels
