  • Paris

Do you want to work on complex and pressing challenges—the kind that bring together curious, ambitious, and determined leaders who strive to become better every day? If this sounds like you, you’ve come to the right place.

Your Impact

As part of the Staffing & Professional Development team in our Paris office, you will work closely with consultants, partners, and other team members while supporting our consultants’ professional development.
You will build and cultivate your professional network outside of McKinsey & Company, Inc. France. You will support the professional development and staffing of consultants from the French office on a variety of projects and day-to-day people processes.
You will develop fluency in the firm's people systems and tools, combining this with your analytical knowledge to help translate business questions into analysis and conclusions. You will be on point for regular as well as ad-hoc data analysis and reports; deriving insights from those which will help define our actions going forward.
You will design, conduct and syndicate standing and ad hoc analysis on people related topics including pyramid, promotions, satisfaction, and experience. You will also work on projects where you are able to demonstrate your project management skills end-to-end.
This will be a full-time internship/apprenticeship with a French School, 35 hours a week. You will be based in Paris.

Your Growth

You are someone who thrives in a high-performance environment, bringing a growth mindset and entrepreneurial spirit to tackle meaningful challenges that have a real impact.
In return for your drive, determination, and curiosity, we’ll provide the resources, mentorship, and opportunities to help you quickly broaden your expertise, grow into a well-rounded professional, and contribute to work that truly makes a difference.
When you join us, you will have:
  • Continuous learning: Our learning and apprenticeship culture, backed by structured programs, is all about helping you grow while creating an environment where feedback is clear, actionable, and focused on your development. The real magic happens when you take the input from others to heart and embrace the fast-paced learning experience, owning your journey.
  • A voice that matters: From day one, we value your ideas and contributions. You’ll make a tangible impact by offering innovative ideas and practical solutions, all while upholding our unwavering commitment to ethics and integrity. We not only encourage diverse perspectives, but they are critical in driving us toward the best possible outcomes.
  • Global community: With colleagues across 65+ countries and over 100 different nationalities, our firm’s diversity fuels creativity and helps us come up with the best solutions. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to learn from exceptional colleagues with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
  • Exceptional benefits: On top of a competitive salary (based on your location, experience, and skills), we provide a comprehensive benefits package to enable holistic well-being for you and your family.

Your qualifications and skills

  • Ideally completed Bachelor's degree (or close to), preferably in an HR-relevant discipline
  • First work experience through internship, apprenticeship or as a student worker
  • Outstanding organizational skills; detail-oriented; able to prioritize and multitask; strong ownership evident through responsibility and accountability for end product; highly proactive mindset
  • Highly professional presence on telephone, email, and all other work-related communications platforms
  • Strong typing and proofreading skills; ability to produce documents quickly and accurately
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to expand your role beyond responsive support to proactive contributions and ownership for administrative tasks; ability to work independently
  • Able to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in French and English, with the ability to adjust your style to suit different perspectives and seniority levels
