YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- A university degree in STEM, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree or MBA is preferred
- 15+ years of relevant experience
- 5+ years as a Sourcing Director or an equivalent leadership role with a proven track record in mentoring, upskilling, and fostering a high-performance culture
- Demonstrated success operating in fast-paced, complex, and evolving business environments, with the ability to manage competing priorities, navigate ambiguity, make sound decisions under pressure, and consistently deliver results
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, supplier due diligence, and risk management in sourcing
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, market trends, and procurement best practices, with the ability to assess and drive measurable ROI
- Proven ability to structure complex contracts, manage supplier relationships, and collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
- Experience designing and implementing sourcing and contract management processes that optimize execution, integrate automation and AI, and improve procurement operations
- A strategic mindset with the ability to lead transformation, influence stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement in sourcing and contracting

Factors like your office location, your unique blend of experience and skills, start date and our current organizational needs all play a part in determining the final figure. Certain roles are also eligible for bonuses, subject to McKinsey's discretion and based on factors such as individual and/or organizational performance.
