YOUR IMPACT
You will work with C-suite executives to problem-solve on their key issues and provide actionable recommendations, bringing together strong business judgment, analytical problem-solving, and an interest in technology and AI.
You will join McKinsey as an integrative Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst, depending on your experience, and will work across a broad range of client topics, industries, and functions. Given your background and interests, we will aim to provide opportunities to work on engagements related to technology, AI, digital transformation, advanced analytics, cloud, cybersecurity, and other technology-enabled business topics, in line with client demand and project availability.
You will play an active role in all aspects of a client project, typically working in teams of 3 to 5 consultants alongside experts and partners of different tenures, including developers, designers, data engineers, agile coaches, and other specialists when relevant. Your work may include gathering and analyzing information, formulating and testing hypotheses, developing recommendations, preparing client presentations, and supporting implementation together with client teams.
You will also have opportunities to collaborate with colleagues from across McKinsey’s global Tech & AI community. This community brings together expertise in areas such as advanced analytics, AI, agile, cloud, cybersecurity, digital marketing, technology strategy, and technology-enabled transformations.
You will receive extensive training as well as frequent coaching and mentoring from colleagues on your teams. This includes formal training programs, ongoing feedback, and support from a partner in your local office who will help guide your development and career progression.
You will also receive support from your local office in navigating staffing opportunities, developing your skills, and building a broad network across McKinsey.
You’ll join one of our Central European offices in Bucharest, Budapest, Kyiv, Prague, Warsaw, or Zagreb and will be fully integrated into the broader McKinsey consulting community. Through your work, you will help clients solve complex business problems and use technology and AI, where relevant, to create lasting impact.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an analytical, technical, or economics-related field with a strong quantitative or analytical component, such as computer science, engineering, IT, mathematics, hard sciences, or economics
- Up to 2 years of professional experience, including internships or full-time roles; exposure to technology, IT strategy, digital transformation, AI, data and analytics, cloud, cybersecurity, e-commerce, IoT, robotics, or related areas is an advantage
- Strong academic and professional track record
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a strong interest in technology, AI, and their application to business problems
- Evidence of leadership, initiative, and impact through academic, professional, or extracurricular experiences
- Willingness to travel as required by client engagements
- Fluent level language skills in English and proficiency in the relevant local language, depending on the office location and local requirements
