A Day in the Life

Within Acute Care & Monitoring (ACM) our broad portfolio of solutions spans the continuum of care to support minimally-invasive treatments by reducing complications to accelerate patient recovery. To reinforce our team, we are looking for an experienced Therapy Sales Specialist for the Benelux region.

You will be reporting to the Acute Care & Monitoring Regional Sales Manager, Benelux. You are expected to travel across the Netherlands and Belgium, with possibly overnight stays.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Promoting and implement Medtronic's products and services within Benelux and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with healthcare professionals and other non-clinical stakeholders to implement strategic conversion projects
  • Pursuing leads, assessing customer needs and providing product services to maximizing the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services
  • Promoting and establishing education of the company's products and/or services
  • Conducting market research including customers and competitors’ activities
  • Implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed
  • Communicating customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of 7 – 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Expertise in clinical setting is a must, specifically within the NICU and PICU settings of the hospital
  • Proven success in implementing complex projects in a hospital setting
  • Excellent communication skills and proven track record of leading by influencing
  • Customer-focused, flexible and assertive
  • Comfortable navigating in a matrix & complex environment
  • Fluency in Dutch and English. Fluency in French is a great plus.
