Be a part of a community of experts committed to ensuring quality, affordable healthcare worldwide.You’ll be part of the US and Puerto Rico Payroll team responsible for timely and accurate pay by assisting with time administration, processing biweekly payroll, payroll/time testing, projects, training, and communications. This will be a hybrid role in Bogotá
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Analyze, audit, reconcile and resolve complex time administration, payroll processing and employee payroll issues to ensure smooth payroll processing
- Ensure time and payroll reporting and payments are compliant with company policy, generally accepted accounting principles, and applicable regulations
- Research and interpret regulatory requirements and resolves payroll, time tax, withholding, garnishment, and compensation and benefits issues for payroll processing
- Respond to auditing and regulatory inquiries
- Create standard operating procedures, responds to merger and acquisition activities, and monitors monthly journal entry and accurate schedules
- Respond to and resolve client inquires
- Work with system programmers to achieve solutions or administer company payroll system with outside service provider
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Highschool degree
- Fluent in English
- One year of experience in Payroll Practices, Wage and Hour Laws/Compliance, Data Analysis, Knowledge Management
- Experience using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications
Experience working with Workday system; Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) and experience working with time-keeping systems, specifically Kronos in Medtronic is advantageous
