A Day in the Life

As a Senior Customer Marketing Specialist for our Interventional Business, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the value proposition for our target customer audience. From gathering insights to designing an end-to-end customer experience, you will contribute to impactful marketing strategies.

This remote role (with over 25% travel expected) focuses on Italy and other Southern European countries. While your home location is your primary workspace, occasional travel to Medtronic offices for meetings may be required.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Develop and implement value propositions for target customers, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience (customers may include patients, strategic accounts, group purchasing organizations, etc.)
  • Build a deep understanding of the target customer segment and integrate this knowledge into marketing strategies
  • Conduct market analyses to identify insights, unmet needs, and new business opportunities to enhance marketing programs
  • Coordinate and integrate key elements of the customer experience, including content, events, and campaigns

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., marketing, business) or equivalent experience in medical devices/healthcare
  • Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and Medtronic colleagues, to support business objectives
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Fluent in Italian and English (spoken and written)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to travel within the region (25%+)


Experience in sales or working closely with sales teams and fluency in Spanish or other languages are beneficial.
