A Day in the Life
We are currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our Diabetes Operations team and play a pivotal role within the EMEA Diabetes organization. In this role, you will be responsible for translating business needs into actionable solutions, collaborating closely with developers while aligning with both the technical and business roadmaps. Additionally, you will provide key data analysis and insights to enhance operational decision-making within the Sales team, supporting the Diabetes business at its core. You will deliver proactive services and support that bring Medtronic’s mission to life—helping patients achieve successful therapy outcomes and fostering long-term trust and engagement.You will work alongside various stakeholders, including Finance, Marketing, Sales, Quality, and Regional leaders, to ensure alignment and drive success across the business. You will report to the Senior Business Operations Manager for the United Kingdom, Ireland & Benelux. You are expected to work from the Eindhoven office three times a week. Travels expected: travel to Belgium and the Netherlands once a month and to the UK once per quarter.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Provide clear guidance for the development of future strategic vision and business requirements by delivering actionable insights that empower leaders to make informed operational decisions
- Proactive partner to the Country Leads: Understanding business strategy and operational goals and able to anticipate needs as part of the planning and performance management cycle
- Educate DIB organization on how data should be accessed and understood across the organization
- Partner with stakeholders on key projects and business cases in order to enable Diabetes services and capabilities to become more efficient
- Enable: Partner with IT to improve quality of reporting systems; provide relevant data across various roles, and the ability for managers to access and understand their own performance reports
- Solution-focused: Be proactive in seeking new insight opportunities; either from new systems, or enhancing capabilities from existing data sources
- Drive process improvement & efficiencies across Commercial Operations processes
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- 2-5 years of proven expertise in data analysis, consistently delivering impactful results, driven by a deep curiosity and passion for uncovering actionable insights through data
- Skilled at presenting and communicating complex findings to diverse audiences, including senior leadership, while leveraging data analytics to influence internal and external stakeholders, proactively generating insights that drive informed decision-making and highlight key areas of focus or potential risks
- Highly proficient in Python for data manipulation and analysis, with the ability to build queries in PowerBI and Snowflake, alongside advanced Excel skills focused on efficiency and complex data management
- Collaborative team player, committed to delivering solutions in a group setting
- Demonstrates strong capability to collaborate remotely with cross-cultural teams, driving decision-making processes while effectively managing multiple priorities and maintaining flexibility in high-pressure situations, all while ensuring exceptional attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality work
- Fluent in both written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate and understand Dutch
