A Day in the Life

The Market Development Specialist is a field-based role that is designed to grow the usage of implantable cardiac monitors in Israel. You will work closely with your local field CRM sales and marketing colleagues to implement and improve patient pathways and increase awareness for the indications for implantable cardiac monitors. You will be the specialist for questions on long-term monitoring for Remote Monitoring via Carelink iCloud and support your sales colleagues. You will also assess and execute new business opportunities and new indications in the local Israeli market. The position reports directly to the CRM Sales Manager for Israel.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Execute local market development strategies to expand the market like technology upgrades, train new implanters, and simplify hospital workflows
  • Increase funding for LINQ service growth by supporting hospital business cases
  • Grow awareness of the need for insertable cardiac monitors and the current guidelines with implanters and referrals
  • Develop regional education and awareness programs
  • Regularly engage with key opinion leaders and expert groups in cardiology and non-traditional customers such as emergency department, care of the elderly, and others
  • Establish referral pathways to drive consistent ICM usage by organizing multidisciplinary hospital meetings
  • Utilize national and European Syncope & Stroke customer education events
  • Responsibility on Monitor vendor – Local focus on Service
  • Develops the Market for Remote monitoring for all CRM devices
  • Market accesses & Market development for CDS cardiac Diagnostic devices

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in medical fields or business Independent, out of the box thinker, self-motivator
  • Few years of professional experience, in market development, or in sales in a clinical context in the medical device or pharma industry
  • Strong negotiation skills, flexibility, and excellent communication skills
  • Excellent written and spoken Hebrew and good English skills (customer contact is mainly in Hebrew, internal communication and training courses are in English)
  • Knowledge from the healthcare industry
  • Anatomical and medical technology knowledge
  • Several years of experience in a sales role in MedTech
  • Experience with a large corporation
