Join us for a career in Finance that changes lives.In Controllership Finance team in Medtronic, we focus on supporting the business in a compliant and ethical manner. In this exciting position you will report to the Cluster Finance Controller and will be responsible for management and statutory requirements for the Medtronic Romania entity. For this role, you will be expected to be located in Bucharest, Romania.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Apply USGAAP and Medtronic principles to analyse financial information and prepare internal and external financial reports
- Manage the entity’s management books fiscal period-end closings in accordance with the accounting policies
- Actively manage Balance sheet monthly/quarterly reconciliations and adjustments if needed
- Actively collaborate with Global finance operations on day-to-day activities and projects
- Actively manage/communicate with external consultants, governmental institutions (tax authority, customs etc.), bank
- Be responsible for statutory reporting including National bank reports, Statistical reports, Environmental reports, Statutory Financial Statements, USGAAP to statutory reconciliations, Corporate Tax return and transfer pricing requirements, perform quarterly profitability calculations
- Actively manage the external statutory audit process
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Required bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance/accounting
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience
- Proficient SAP user
- Experience in multinational companies
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
- Great communication, and facilitation skills in international environment
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
