We are hiring a Project Coordinator IV to support our VP of Marketing and Senior Directors who lead our Defibrillation Solutions business. Scope of Role

  • Provide administrative support to the following leaders and their teams within the Defibrillation Solutions Marketing group:

  • VP of Marketing
  • Sr Director, Global ICD & CRTD Commercial Marketing
  • Sr Director, Global PI Commercial Marketing
  • Director, Global Market Development

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Provides expert administrative support including preparing communications, maintaining calendars, meeting and conference coordination, travel coordination (domestic and international), and submitting expenses.
  • Nurture the team culture through open and transparent communication, identification of areas where coordination is required between groups and collaboration with other teams
  • Support team operating mechanisms including team meetings, celebrations, quarterly business reviews and other business processes by ensuring deadlines and deliverables are clear and ensuring adequate work time is preserved
  • Works independently, anticipating next steps, taking initiative, exercising discretion and sound judgment to ensure the executives are well-prepared for all elements of their daily and weekly schedules.
  • Develops effective professional relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders and organizations
  • Plans, prepares and coordinates special meetings including agendas, meeting materials, logistics, action items, travel and catering.
  • Performs a wide variety of non-routine administrative tasks and may support special projects or assignments.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 6 years of administrative experience supporting multiple individuals with competing needs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word, Teams

Nice to Have:

  • An Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Experience with booking travel, processing expenses, coordinating meetings & agenda development, and maintaining calendars
  • Previous healthcare industry experience interfacing with healthcare customers
  • Ability to work independently to achieve results
  • Technical computer skills and the ability to troubleshoot basic IT issues
  • Problem solving analysis and research abilities
  • Able to communicate intelligently and confidently with physicians and high-level executives.
  • Proactive in self-education of policies and procedures.
  • Detail oriented planner
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Professional étiquette (telephone, correspondence, email, and in person).
  • Ability to work well under multiple instructions and directions and manage competing priorities.
  • High level of energy and willingness to work independently in an ever-evolving environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong working relationships.
  • Ability to perform physical lifting of boxes and materials and transportation of equipment on-site
  • Ability to achieve results by working cross-functionally and collaboratively across a matrix organization
  • Self-starter, comfortable taking initiative and managing multiple projects at once
  • Experience working with a global team in multiple time zones
  • Conflict resolution skills – can respond gracefully and professionally while upholding policy
  • Interest in learning new technologies

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$62,400.00 - $93,600.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to all regular employees: Incentive plans, 401(k) plan plus employer contribution and match, Short-term disability, Paid time off, Paid holidays, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Employee Assistance Program, Non-qualified Retirement Plan Supplement (subject to IRS earning minimums), and Capital Accumulation Plan (available to Vice Presidents and above, or subject to IRS earning minimums).

Regular employees are those who are not temporary, such as interns. Temporary employees are eligible for paid sick time, as required under applicable state law, and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Please note some of the above benefits may not apply to workers in Puerto Rico.
