A Day in the Life
As the Senior Manager for Contracts, Tenders, and Pricing in the Benelux region, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Medtronic’s commercial strategy. You will be responsible for leading and continuously optimizing all processes related to contracts, tenders, and pricing across the Benelux markets. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams—including Sales, Legal, and Finance—to ensure our commercial proposals are competitive, compliant, and operationally efficient. Your strategic oversight will be essential in driving business growth and ensuring alignment with both local and regional objectives.You will be responsible for covering the Benelux region and are expected to work from the office between two and four days per week. You will report to the Pricing, Contracting & Tender Director – France & Benelux.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Contract Management: Oversee the negotiation, drafting, and management of contracts with clients and strategic partners
- Tenders: Coordinate responses to tenders, ensuring the quality and compliance of submissions
- Pricing Strategy: Develop and implement competitive pricing strategies adapted to local markets.
- Analysis and Reporting: Provide in-depth analysis of contract and tender performance, and suggest improvements
- Leadership: Lead and develop a dedicated team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to local regulations and Medtronic's internal policies
- Drive the Pricing agenda in the Benelux leadership team and build the bridge between the sales organization, our local team and the different COE's
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- A university degree in business, law, economics, or a related field
- At least 8-10 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in the medical or pharmaceutical sector
- Expertise in contract management, tenders, and pricing. Strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Fluency in both Dutch, and English. Good knowledge of French
- Strong leadership, strategic insight, and operational rigor
- The ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
