A Day in the Life

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to gain commercial experience and sharpen your financial skills with a global leader in medical technology? Medtronic South Korea has a fixed term position for 12 months based in the Seoul office.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance Analyst is responsible to ensure the agreed finance plans and objectives are implemented smoothly across the business. Within this role, you will gain exposure dealing with various commercial and functional teams across the business.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Support monthly, quarterly, and yearly actual data analysis to aid budgeting and forecasting processes

• Analyze financial metrics, including rates of return, depreciation, investments, costs versus budget, variance analysis, forecasting, financial planning, and expense comparisons

• Prepare management reports focusing on revenue, margin, and expense performance

• Develop expertise in navigating and analyzing financial data through finance systems and web-based dashboards.

• Collaborate as a financial business partner to support overall P&L management and facilitate informed decision-making

• Handle various ad hoc reporting tasks as needed

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting from any industry

• Advanced level in MS Excel

• Strong team collaboration skills and has flexible mindset in organizational changes

• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and Korean languages
