Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the Senior Marketing Specialist is expected to coordinate and support all aspects of marketing and sales efforts by actively collaborating with marketing and sales staff within the Spinal & Biologics business in South Korea.

To be successful in this role, you must have good business acumen in selling and/or promoting medical devices and have a passion to initiate a marketing program. You’ll work in collaboration with key stakeholders to create synergy and contribute to reinforcing inclusive working culture.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Leads and coordinates product planning, product launches, product management, market development and market research activities.

  • Interacts directly with marketing manager/specialists to identify new marketing opportunities.

  • Works individually or with a team in recommending action, scheduling and planning projects, estimating cost and managing projects to completion.

  • Working on some weekends for Society events (booth duty and/or cadaveric workshop), Medtronic events (symposium and/or cadaveric workshop).

  • Identifies unmet customer requirements and new business opportunities and provides vision and focus to move products from idea to marketplace.

  • Facilitates and coordinates marketing activities with geographic areas to increase teamwork and build partnerships.

  • Manage expense relevant documentation and process payment

  • Manage customer (HCP) contract and agreement

  • Support the marketing team with the logistics services in preparing product seminars, marketing events etc.

  • Collaborate with logistics teams to understand the reasons for backorders and release plan and update with sales team

  • Plan and execute strategic marketing campaigns for existing and new medical devices in domestic and international markets.

  • Develop product positioning and messaging tailored to healthcare professionals, hospital decision-makers, and regulatory bodies.

  • Conduct market research to identify clinical needs, competitor landscape, and emerging trends in the medical device space.

  • Collaborate with regulatory, sales, and clinical teams to align marketing strategy with product lifecycle and compliance requirements.

  • Create marketing assets including brochures, case studies, white papers, presentations, and digital content.

  • Organize and manage industry events, medical conferences, workshops, and KOL (Key Opinion Leader) engagement programs.

  • Monitor and report on marketing campaign performance using relevant AOPs and analytics tools.

  • Support product launches through coordinated go-to-market strategies, sales enablement tools, and internal training.

  • Maintain strong knowledge of local and global healthcare regulations and reimbursement processes.

  • Manage and forecast monthly implants based on seasons or special needs

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Completed bachelor’s degree qualifications

  • Min 6 years of experience in marketing or sales in the healthcare industry

  • Strong and on-time execution focusses with stakeholders including Sales teams in a dynamic environment with an ability to be agile

  • Good presentation and effective verbal and written English and Korean communication skills

  • Computer and MS Office proficiency
