Renal Denervation (RDN) is an innovative procedure that helps patients lower their blood pressure by targeting specific overactive nerves near the kidneys, which can lead to hypertension—a global epidemic affecting up to half of all adults.
CathWorks provides a sophisticated FFRangio system designed to support interventional cardiologists in gaining a deeper insight into their patients' physiology in the cath lab. By leveraging artificial intelligence and state-of-the-art computational science, the FFRangio System derives physiological data from standard angiograms, thereby improving the decision-making process for treatment.
We are looking for a Principal Customer Specialist to join our growing US Customer Education and Programs team, with dual reporting responsibilities to Customer Engagement. This role will oversee the full lifecycle of Symplicity and CathWorks speaker programs, ensuring seamless execution from program request to closeout. This role requires a seasoned professional with expertise in program management and meeting planning, capable of liaising with the programs team on content-related requests and leading change management initiatives.
A DAY IN THE LIFE:
- Manage the entire speaker program process, including program request, pre-program planning, execution, and closeout. Ensure all aspects of the program are delivered to the highest standards.
- Act as the Program Manager, coordinating all logistical and planning aspects to ensure smooth execution of speaker programs.
- Fulfill meeting planning responsibilities, including scheduling, venue selection, and coordination of speaker logistics.
- Collaborate closely with the programs team to address content-related requests and ensure program materials are accurate and engaging.
- Lead change management initiatives, training teams on execution strategies to adapt to evolving program needs and industry trends.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful program outcomes.
- Maintain high standards of quality and consistency across all speaker programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Must Have:
- Bachelor's Degree and 4 years experience in program management and meeting planning, preferably within the healthcare or medical device industry. Or an advanced degree and 2 years of experience
Nice to Have:
- .Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead change management initiatives and train teams on execution strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple programs simultaneously.
- Ability to think strategically and adapt to changing program needs and industry trends.
- 6+ years in a meeting planning role
- CMP (Certified Meeting Planner, HMCC (Healthcare Management Compliance Certificate)
- Systems experience such as SFDC, CVENT, Concur, Hotel & Vendor contracting experience
- Budget and vendor management experience
- Project management experience
- Strong planning, negotiating, organizational and time management skills
- Expert working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote).
