A Day in the Life

Are you a sales and technical professional with a proven track record, strong ethics, and the ability to spot and convert market opportunities? Can you lead complex negotiations with confidence and commercial flair? If so, consider joining Medtronic as a Technical Consultant in our Surgical Innovations team. In this field-based role, you'll support and promote our advanced GYN (Gynecology) surgical products across hospitals in central Poland. You’ll provide technical expertise, train healthcare professionals, and work closely with sales and clinical teams to grow market share and deliver value to our customers.

Areas to be covered: Mazowieckie, Łódzkie, Lubelskie, and Podlaskie regions.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Promote and sell Medtronic's innovative range of GYN Surgical Innovations products to healthcare professionals.
  • Deliver product demonstrations and support the installation, setup, and maintenance of GYN-related equipment.
  • Provide ongoing technical support and application-specific information to both sales teams and customers.
  • Equip sales personnel with the necessary technical knowledge and materials to effectively demonstrate products.
  • Deliver technical or scientific presentations at internal sales meetings and external customer events.
  • Conduct on-site training and education for healthcare professionals, supporting the successful adoption and use of our products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and institutions, serving as a trusted technical advisor.
  • Act as a liaison between hospital technical staff and the Medtronic sales team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • University degree in a relevant field (e.g. technical, biomedical, medical, physiotherapy, biology, or business).
  • Minimum of 1 year of sales experience, ideally within the medical devices industry (not mandatory).
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English; fluency in Polish is essential.
  • Strong computer skills and digital literacy.
  • High adaptability with a strong willingness and ability to learn quickly.
  • Creative and solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated respect for cultural differences and diverse work environments.
  • Customer-focused team player with a collaborative approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain lasting business relationships.
  • Strong sales acumen, persuasive communication, and a results-driven attitude.
  • Committed to ethical conduct in all aspects of sales and customer interaction.

Preferred skills include experience with tender procedures, sales experience in medical devices, and specific knowledge of GYN devices.
