The Internship at Medtronic will support and help Cardiovascular team within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts for pre-defined territory locations.

Internship details:
• Start date: September
• Duration: 6 months
• Working hours: 40 h/week with flexibility (exams and holiday period)
• Working model: hybrid
• Location: Cairo/Giza

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
• Identifying, developing and closing leads for the business and refer on internal leads when appropriate.
• Providing input on new markets, new product introductions, and existing products or supplies.
• Promoting and establishing education of the company's products and/or services.
• Managing and responding to customer concerns and problems.
• Arranging demonstration of products by field sales representatives.
• Planning and execution of sales activities as well as providing on-going sales support including sales calls, data analysis, customer opportunities, and sales rep follow-up.


Required Knowledge:
• Recently graduated or about to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Science, Business
• Fluent in English and Arabic
• Good knowledge of MS office (Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Eager to learn & develop
• Passionate about anatomy and high - tech products
• Ability to work with a team

Would be a plus:
• Practical knowledge of sales techniques, strategies & relationship building
• Demonstrated ability to work independently & drive results
• Degree in biological science or business preferred
• Business planning skills
• Communication and presentation skills
• Ability to teach & educate medical personnel, peers & technical support personnel
• Demonstrated ability to grasp use of technology & applications (ie., iPad, SalesForce.com, SAP); PC literate
