We are currently looking for a full-time customer-focused, proactive and accurate Associate Intercompany Export Specialist, we ensure excellent quality, swift delivery and ultimately our patients' safety and health!
We are specifically looking for candidates that live within a maximum 80km radius of our Medtronic office in Heerlen, the Netherlands. After your fulltime training period at the office, we expect you to work at least 2 days per week in the office; the other days you will work out of your home office. As of 1 July 2022, our government has communicated that cross-border employees must be present in the office by 80% of the working hours.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
The job entails close working relationships with local downstream Distribution Centers, regulatory, logistics operations, transport teams, trade compliance and our supply chain planning department.
- You are the first point of contact for inquiries from Distribution Centers in Middle East, Africa, Central Asia, Russia, Eastern Europe, India, APAC, China and Latin America related to their stock transfer orders from our Distribution Centers in Heerlen, Netherlands or Rolo, Italy.
- You enable smooth order and shipment processes and communications for these stock transfer orders and handle all incoming e-mails to (shared) mailboxes in an efficient, compliant and effective way.
- You create and monitor stock transfer orders, deliveries, shipments at different stages in the process and monitor our lead-times in ERP (i.e. SAP) systems.
- You are responsible for aging orders and providing daily/ weekly information about the open orders, deliveries and shipments to the distribution centers.
- You are responsible for service complaints follow up with detailed root cause investigation and timely resolving the complaint.
- You are responsible for performing root cause investigation for various issues, coordinate issues with other teams, and pay attention to detail in order to resolve issues.
- You have recurrent conference calls with your stakeholders to discuss processes, overcome obstacles and make agreements. You apply continuous improvement method/thinking while working on process improvements. You analyze and assess data and deviations to enable smooth process flows.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- HBO (Hoger Beroepsonderwijs/ Higher Professional Education) work & thinking level
- 2+ years’ experience in export related customer care or logistics environment
- Fluent in English
- Customer service focus
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Computer literacy (MS-Office & ERP Systems)
- Strong sense of responsibility and high flexibility
- Able to prioritize in a constantly changing environment and to deal with stress
- Problem solving skills and Solution Minded
