A Day in the Life

Are you a passionate, dedicated, and motivated Project Manager looking for a new challenge? As the Sr. Service Project Management Specialist, you will manage a variety of projects to deliver on key business strategies and initiatives. You will work across functions, departments, business units, and geographies utilizing project management skills to shape our business. You will become an integral part of the Service organization driving key initiatives to increase both internal and external customer satisfaction. Be a leader and innovator, while becoming part of the Medtronic family. This position will be a remote position in Bogotá.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Apply strong project management skillsets to plan, initiate, monitor, track, and ultimately deliver service-related projects
  • Lead cross-functional teams for global Service projects for the Americas, potentially for APAC and EMEA as needed
  • Support customer-facing Service Programs and supporting the Service Technical Training team
  • Develop and implement processes across Service to standardize and drive consistency
  • Partner with cross-functional, global teams to define, implement, and monitor processes and systems to improve delivery service for both internal and external customers
  • Convey, drive and escalate project statuses, issues, and successes through effective communication with team members, stakeholders, and upper management
  • Effective meeting milestones and deadlines in an autonomous environment
  • Apply broad business acumen, including financial modeling, ROI, and other cost/benefit tools
  • Learn and applying a strong understanding of the Service business, products, and clinical applications
  • Lead and participating in continuous improvement activities across the Service organization
  • Enforce quality standards within every project and all day-to-day activities

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Fluent in English
  • Two to four years of experience in project management, leading diverse and complex projects and programs
  • Knowledge working with MS Office – Excel Expertise
  • PMP certification is advantageous
