A Day in the Life
The Field Inventory Manager will be based out of Gurgaon office of Medtronic, and will be part of India Customer Care and Order Operations organization. In the last 3 years, Medtronic has been successful in carrying out transformative projects in Supply Chain space in India, with a focus on driving efficiency, adoption of technology and inventory analytics. This role will be responsible for maintaining the momentum through data driven insights and collaboration, in the customer inventory management space.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Identify, plan, and execute improvement opportunities in day-to-day field inventory operations, through data/ collaborative understanding.
Work closely with regional Field Inventory leads and FSL leads to understand pain points and derive better ways of working.
Conceptualize and implement analytics frameworks for Inventory Optimization and follow up for actions on the ground.
Collaborate with IT and Business Intelligence teams to define and develop insightful reports/ dashboards/ visualizations.
Work with external IT vendor for in-house Order to Cash app enhancements and implementation.
Support supply chain representation in strategic forums through data assimilation and visualization.
Lead Channel Transformation initiatives with strong collaboration with Channel, Sales and Finance teams, along with inventory actions.
Business partnering with sales teams by addressing their concerns through effective collaboration with Planning, Logistics, Customer Service and Finance.
Must Have- Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Quantitative field (Engineering, Statistics, Science, Accounting, Business), MBA from Tier-1 colleges/ CA preferred
Min. 10 years of experience in Supply Chain Data Analysis and operations.
Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel (including Power Query, Power Pivot, Visualizations)
Prior experience in leading critical projects in supply chain domain with end-to-end lifecycle management
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Team player and a great collaborator
Self-driven; excels in a minimum supervision environment by taking ownership
Tech-oriented
Nice to Have:
Experience in Power BI dashboard creation and maintenance
Excel VBA scripting experience
Knowledge of SQL, Python/ R
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
Experience in handling in-house tech product development and implementation
