A Day in the Life

We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Facilities & Maintenance Excellence Intern to join our team in Kerkrade, the Netherlands. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of our Maintenance Excellence Structure at our Manufacturing entity. As part of our Facilities & Maintenance team, you will play a key role in optimizing and structuring our processes.

Internship details:

-Start date: middle of the August / September

-Duration: 6 months

-Working hours: 40 per week

-Working model: min. 80% on-site, preferably 100% on-site

-Location: Kerkrade, The Netherlands

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

-Implementing 5S methodology in Facilities & Maintenance workspaces to improve clarity and efficiency.

-Drafting and documenting clear and complete crisis management procedures to minimize operational risks.

-Analyzing current maintenance management system and advising on and setting up either a new or improved CMMS

- Setting up inventory management for spare parts, maintenance tools and related consumables

Required Knowledge:

-Pursuing a degree in higher education in Industrial Engineering & Management, Engineering or Industrial Engineering

-Fluency in English

Would be a plus:

-Dutch language is a plus

-Independent, proactive, pragmatic, and organized.

-Strong communication skills for collaborating with operators, technicians, engineers, and leaders.

-Accuracy and strong documentation skills.
