We’re working a minimum of 4 days a week onsite as part of our commitment to fostering a culture of professional growth and cross-functional collaboration as we work together to engineer the extraordinary.The Enterprise Risk & Facilities (ERF) and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) functions within GOSC help enable over $800M in annual spend and touch every aspect of Medtronic operations. Leverage your financial acumen to provide insightful support to the center-led team and help the organization deliver against its strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Provide cost center management and support to ensure achievement of AOP targets, forecasts, spend analyses, month-end close, and decision support to mitigate budget risks.
Support financial updates for ERF & EHS reporting packages, including Monthly Financial Reviews (MFR), Annual Operating Plans (AOP), and presentations to GOSC leadership.
Lead the global ERF spend transformation initiative, including P&L and cost center classification analysis, planning coordination with Finance colleagues across Operating Units, and driving global ERF spend transparency.
CapEx planning/forecasting ownership for EHS and functional consolidation for GOSC submissions.
Partner with Analytics Data & Insights team for Power BI Dashboard creation, data analysis, and business partner training.
Complement analysis, reporting, and reconciliation across ERF & EHS organizations.
Business partner with Environmental Health and Safety organization.
Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires advanced knowledge of job area combining breadth and depth, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
May have practical knowledge of project management.
Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A) and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
Nice to Haves
4+ years of Accounting or Finance experience with a BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong quantitative analysis and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office package (Excel - including use of macros and lookup tables, Word, PowerPoint)
Solid accounting (GAAP), financial, and business management foundation
Effective communication, presentation, and people skills
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
High degree of initiative and self-motivation
Ability to interface with various levels of management
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Eagerness to learn and expand responsibilities
Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive, enthusiastic attitude

Experience with OneStream, Spend, and SAP
