A Day in the Life
In this exciting role as a Sales Channel Representative you will have responsibilities as a point contact for our distributor partners, wholesalers, HCPs, and other customers using our products. Process orders, returns, rebates, credits/debits. Research and resolve any and all inquiries, providing excellent customer service at all times. Drive automation, process improvements, and workflow efficiencies to streamline operations.This role requires you to work on-site at our Northridge, CA office at least 2 days per week. This on-site presence is vital for collaboration and maintaining strong team connections. Please be aware that the hybrid schedule may change based on business needs, potentially requiring additional on-site days.
This position is an exciting opportunity to work with Medtronic's Diabetes business. Daily activities include interaction with all levels of external distributor customers, supply chain, and exposure to sensitive information requiring considerable use of tact, diplomacy, discretion and judgment.
Accurately and efficiently process, document, and record in operating systems customer orders, returns, rebates, credits/debits, etc., meeting or exceeding key performance indicators measuring productivity as defined by management
Provides excellent customer service in person, on the phone, and via email to distributor partners, wholesalers, HCPs and other customers.
Provide order processing support for dealer partners, wholesalers, HCPs, and other customers, researching and resolving any and all inquiries, providing excellent customer service at all times.
Manage backorders, inventory, and special pricing through collaboration with supply chain and distributor channel leadership.
Provide reports to distributor channel leadership, distributor partners, and internal groups as needed.
Assist sales administration team to balance overall workload for the department
Participate and coordinate in various projects to improve external and internal sales processes and functions.

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
4 years relevant experience
Nice to Have
Bachelor’s degree
Experience in the medical device industry
Experience in a sales support operations role
Experience using Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Experience using SAP
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with customers to resolve issues and answer questions according to department protocols and requirements
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively through written documents, and in situations requiring negotiations
Demonstrated ability to research and analyze problems and develop solutions
Ability to exercise independent judgment. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, work in a fast-paced environment and accomplish results through influence
