A Day in the Life

Medtronic, a global leader in medical technology, is seeking a Senior Marketing Specialist to join the Surgical Robotics & Lung Health portfolios within the Capital Marketing team for the Central & Eastern Europe region.

This role combines product launches, cross-functional collaboration, and market analysis to drive adoption and growth in fast-evolving healthcare markets. The ideal candidate will contribute to strategic initiatives, support go-to-market activities, and leverage insights to deliver impactful marketing solutions across diverse markets. In this hybrid role, you will be expected to travel around 30% around the region and you will be expected to be located near one of our offices.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Lead product strategy and market development, drive product planning, market research, and launches to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities
  • Collaborate across teams, partner with marketing, sales, clinical, and regulatory teams to align strategies, uncover opportunities, and execute impactful campaigns
  • Drive project execution and Go-To-Market activities, plan, schedule, and execute projects, including product launches, events, and sales enablement initiatives, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Identify customer needs & market gaps, leverage market insights, competitor analysis, and clinical trends to transform unmet needs into actionable strategies
  • Manage marketing & logistics activities, oversee trade shows, digital content, website development, e-commerce, and other campaigns, providing recommendations for future promotions
  • Engage with Key Stakeholders, build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, hospital decision-makers, and Key Opinion Leaders to strengthen partnerships and market influence
  • Ensure compliance & regulatory alignment, maintain expertise in healthcare regulations and reimbursement processes to ensure marketing strategies and product positioning comply with guidelines

Required knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in marketing or sales, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Strong marketing, operational, and project execution skills with accountability for timely results
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written English communication abilities
  • Demonstrates integrity, respect, and adherence to Business Conduct Policies in a multinational environment
  • Proficient in MS Office and able to quickly learn and utilize digital tools.
  • Effective team player with a focus on building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Project management skills, the ability to work across functions, influence stakeholders, and apply business acumen is a must. Experience in clinical or product marketing, market and revenue modelling, and building relationships across marketing, clinical, research and development, health economics, and sales is a plus. Flexibility to travel up to fifty percent and strong communication skills in a fast-paced environment are also desirable.
