A Day in the Life
We are seeking an Analytic Data Engineer to join our dynamic team and help transform data into actionable insights. In this role, you will work in an agile environment, collaborating closely with subject matter experts, business users, scrum masters, and IT partners to understand business processes and the data that drives them. You will design, build, and optimize data solutions that enable advanced analytics and reporting, ensuring data quality, accessibility, and scalability across the organization.This is a remote position based in Bogota, Colombia.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Adhere to the (generation, ingestion, transformation, serving) and related disciplines (security, data management, data operations, data architecture, orchestration, software engineering)
- Facilitate the ideation and creation of analytical solutions for various functions
- Capture requirements and suggest improvements for analytical processes
- Collaborate extensively across cross-functional teams and the organization
- Drive the development and deployment of analytical solutions, fostering insights that yield positive business outcomes
- Ensure the development of analytics aligns with end-to-end business processes and objectives
- Act as a key resource to support and drive analytics initiatives
- Ensure a high level of customer value and satisfaction through ownership and accountability
- Promote the adoption and usage of analytics tools and insights across the organization
- Support training and enablement of analytic tools
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of solutions
- Serve as a steward of analytics by generating insights for business use cases
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Strong expertise in Analytics and SAP
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
Advanced English skills
Good communication and leadership skills
Nice to Have:
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, JDE, QAD
Demand and Supply Planning Systems such as SAP APO, Blue Yonder
Data transformation tools such as dbt or Coalesce
Data extraction tools such as Informatica, Alteryx, Knime, Dataiku
Experience with Power BI and Microsoft Power Platform
Ability to influence decisions and drive projects to completion
Reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire
Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
Experience with API scripting
Experience working in an Agile environment
SAP BW HANA and SAP HANA Enterprise Edition
Experience in regulated industries (e.g., Medical Device)
Data modeling tools such as MIRO, Erwin, PowerDesigner
Demonstrated autonomy and independence in influencing design of products, processes, and standards related to the data engineering life cycle
Adoption of AI tools and innovation to deliver value to analytics users
