As a Market Access Lead, you will drive Market Access (MA) projects for selected technologies in Poland, acting as the primary contact for all related matters. You will report directly to the MA Director, Medtronic Poland, and collaborate closely with the Country Leader, business leaders, marketing teams, and other internal and external stakeholders.
All activities will be carried out aligned with internal guidelines, compliance standards, and local legislation, ensuring the highest level of integrity and professionalism.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Lead Market Access Projects: manage and execute Market Access (MA) projects for our selected technologies, including competitive landscape analysis, planning, budgeting, and ensuring cross-functional cooperation and alignment.
- Data Analysis & Value Documentation: Collect and analyse clinical, economic, and epidemiological data to demonstrate the value of Medtronic technologies and services.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Networking: build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), government bodies, patient advocacy groups, and external experts based on proposed stakeholder engagement strategy to support access initiatives.
- Collaboration Across Functions: work closely with business leaders, marketing teams, and internal/external stakeholders to implement solutions and drive alignment.
- Negotiations & Health System Monitoring: support negotiations on pricing, reimbursement, and service models with authorities, while monitoring and analysing the Polish healthcare system.
- Strategic Input & Risk Assessment: provide timely insights to the Market Access Director and Country Leader on opportunities, risks, and strategies impacting technologies access.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Master’s degree in e.g., Business, Economics, Healthcare, Biotechnology, Pharmacy or Public health required.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in pharma and medical devices company.
- Deep knowledge of healthcare systems in Poland and the position of company portfolio to support and facilitate the business priorities.
- Collaborative mindset, strong ability to work in team and to build long-term relationships.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluent in Polish and English.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and prioritise.
Exposure to Public Affairs and Governmental Affairs department, supporting congresses and events, interested in optimization and improvement of processes and projects are desirable.

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
