A Day in the Life
The Senior Financial Analyst, MiniMed Controllership supports day-to-day site-level accounting and financial reporting for the MiniMed Juncos manufacturing facility, including period-end close under US GAAP, local statutory accounting and reporting, audit coordination, and finance process and control execution. The role also supports Day-1 readiness for the Record-to-Report workstream as part of the Diabetes division separation effort, with direct responsibility for manufacturing-site accounting, balance sheet integrity, and internal controls.This position is an exciting opportunity to work with Medtronic's Diabetes business. Senior Analyst – MiniMed Controllership (Record-to-Report)
As a Senior Analyst, you will be a key contributor supporting the statutory and US GAAP accounting and financial reporting for the MiniMed Juncos manufacturing facility. This includes period-end financial close for US GAAP and management reporting, local statutory financial reporting, site accounting processes and controls, internal and external audit support, and the readiness of the Record-to-Report workstream for Day-1 operations as part of the Diabetes separation.
Responsibilities may include the following, and other duties may be assigned:
Deliver timely period-end closing activities for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end for the Juncos manufacturing site, working closely with OU Ops Finance, Site Finance, and Controllership.
Deliver financial close and reporting in compliance with US GAAP and local statutory accounting standards, including support for statutory financial statements and filings.
Compile and analyze site-level financial information to record transactions, prepare statutory and management reports, and verify accuracy and completeness.
Prepare and support journal entries and site balance sheet account reconciliations, with a focus on manufacturing-related accounts including inventory, accruals, fixed assets, intercompany, and production variances; strengthen site balance sheet controls.
Work with internal and external auditors, tax teams, and local advisors to support statutory audits, corporate tax, and indirect tax requirements.
Support internal control requirements, including SOX compliance at the site level, control execution, documentation, testing, and remediation.
Support legal-entity fiduciary responsibilities associated with the Juncos manufacturing entity, including local compliance and governance requirements.
Provide technical accounting support for manufacturing-site transactions, intercompany arrangements, and operational initiatives impacting MiniMed.
Assist with technical accounting research for complex transactions and new accounting standard implementations impacting the site.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and ad-hoc finance and reporting projects focused on strengthening site accounting, statutory compliance, and close efficiency.
Support duties related to the Diabetes division separation effort, including Day-1 readiness and post-Day-1 stabilization for the Record-to-Report workstream.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree
- Requires minimum 4+ years of experience as financial analyst, accounting, business analyst or other relevant field; or Advanced Degree with a minimum of 2+ years experience as financial analyst, accounting, business analyst or other relevant field.
Nice to Have
- 4+ years of progressive experience in accounting supporting a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate financial and accounting information clearly across diverse audiences.
- Working knowledge of SAP, OneStream
- Experience working in a newly public or transformation-driven environment.
- CPA or MBA preferred
