A Day in the Life
We have an exciting role for a Training & Education Specialist based in our Head Office in Macquarie Park, Sydney. Working in close partnership with the Surgical Training and Education Team, this role ensures seamless coordination of remote and in-person training events, including oversight of communications, event logistics, and surgical training center facility management.Reporting into the Director- Global Sales Excellence, the Training & Education Specialist is responsible for the effective deployment, tracking, and compliance management of training programs through the organisation’s Learning Management System (LMS). This role is critical in enabling high-quality, compliant, and operationally excellent training experiences that support commercial teams, healthcare professionals, and strategic business objectives.
This is a parental leave contract for 12 months
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Training Deployment & LMS Administration
Deploy training curricula and learning pathways within the LMS.
Monitor training completion, certification status, and compliance requirements.
Generate regular compliance and completion reports for leadership.
Maintain accurate learner records and training documentation.
Ensure alignment with regulatory, quality, and corporate compliance standards.
Troubleshoot LMS access, enrollment, and reporting issues.
Event Coordination & Logistics (Remote & In-Person)
Coordinate logistics for surgical training programs, workshops, and product education events.
Manage event scheduling, faculty coordination, attendee registration, and communications.
Organise travel, accommodation, catering, and equipment logistics where required.
Support virtual training delivery platforms and remote event execution.
Ensure materials, instruments, and product inventory are prepared and available.
Surgical Training Centre Facility Coordination
Oversee operational coordination of the dedicated surgical training centre.
Manage facility scheduling and utilisation.
Coordinate equipment setup, simulation labs, and technical requirements.
Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure facility readiness.
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and infection control protocols.
Support continuous improvement of the training environment and participant experience
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in education, business, healthcare, or related field.
Experience administering a Learning Management System (LMS).
Experience coordinating training programs or events, preferably within healthcare or MedTech.
Understanding of compliance requirements within a regulated industry (preferred).
Strong organisational and project coordination skills
