A Day in the Life

We are looking for professionals who want to generate real impact by combining strategy, data, technology and execution to enhance customer experience, drive operational efficiency and unlock new growth opportunities.Acting in this role you will lead the discovery, design and evolution of digital products and solutions across Latin America, with a strong focus on AI‑enabled capabilities, commercial processes, digital channels and customer experience, as the bridge between business and technology, this role deeply understands field realities (customers, distribution centers, sales, customer service), maps pain points and prioritizes a product backlog that delivers measurable impact in revenue, efficiency and customer satisfaction. This position will be located in São Paulo for a hybrid working model.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Define and continuously evolve the vision and roadmap for key digital products in LATAM (e.g. quotation portals, e‑procurement integrations, sales portals, self‑service, AI‑enabled tools), in alignment with the Digital, CX and Innovation strategy, translating business challenges and opportunities into a clear product strategy, with articulated value propositions and success metrics
- Spend significant time in the field (customers, distribution centers, sales floors, customer service) to observe processes, listen to users and understand real pain points as well as facilitating discovery workshops with Commercial, CX, Operations, Finance and other areas to map journeys, processes and friction points
- Gather and synthesize user feedback, business needs and data insights to inform product decisions, identifying and prioritizing AI and Generative AI use cases within the product scope (e.g. quotation automation, GenAI for email processing, recommendations, triage, predictive analytics).
- Work closely with Digital, Data and IT teams to define requirements, constraints and success metrics for AI‑enabled features, ensuring that technology choices are fit-for-purpose, scalable and aligned with Medtronic’s standards and guidelines
- Own the product backlog, writing and prioritizing epics, features and user stories based on business value, user experience and technical feasibility, working side‑by‑side with engineering, architecture and UX/UI teams to ensure high-quality delivery of product increments
- Make trade‑off decisions (scope, timeline, sequencing) supported by data and stakeholder input, ensuring that releases are well communicated, adopted and measured
- Drive the evolution of digital channels, including B2B/B2C portals, e‑commerce, e‑procurement integrations and self‑service flows related to quotations, orders, invoices and support
- Ensure seamless integration with Salesforce and other core systems, working with the Digital and IT teams, supporting improvements in commercial processes (quotation, pricing, approvals, order‑to‑cash) through product features and automation
- Define and track KPIs for each product (adoption, usage, conversion, cycle time, revenue impact, cost reduction, NPS of the journey) and use data, feedback and experiments (A/B tests, pilots) to continuously refine the product
- Prepare updates and insights for executive forums, highlighting impact, learnings and next steps, acting as a trusted partner to Commercial, CX, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain and other key stakeholders, aligning expectations, managing demands and supporting change management and adoption across countries, representing the digital product in regional and global discussions, ensuring LATAM needs and realities are properly addressed
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
Proficiency in English and Spanish are required (reading, writing and speaking)
- 5–9 years in roles such as Digital Product Manager, Product Owner, Business Product Owner, Digital Transformation Lead or similar.
- Demonstrated experience owning roadmaps and backlogs for digital products.
- Concrete AI / GenAI use cases delivered in production.
- Experience with commercial or CX processes (sales, quotations, e‑procurement, e‑commerce, customer service).
- Exposure to LATAM or multi‑country operations.
- Experience working closely with engineering/IT and business stakeholders.
