Atrial fibrillation affects over 33 million individuals worldwide and is the most common form of serious arrhythmia. Being in a fast-growing cardiac ablation business segment and with recent acquisition of the AFFERA™ Mapping and Ablation System, we are poised to provide innovative solutions to address unmet needs for many patients. We are seeking a skilled Field Specialist to join our team to further drive the growth of the business in Nordic.

Reporting the operating unit this role is critical in providing commercial, expert clinical and technical support and training to physicians and EP Lab Staff on the optimal use of the AFFERA™ Mapping and Ablation System.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Support and execute the AFFERA™ Mapping and Ablation System commercial strategy in Norway, supporting territory growth and market development.
  • Provide clinical and technical support in EP labs, assisting physicians and staff with system use, case planning, and troubleshooting.
  • Deliver presentations, negotiations, and stakeholder engagement with hospitals, clinicians, and internal teams to drive adoption.
  • Conduct training and in-service education and supporting onboarding of mapping specialists
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, education, and field service teams on installations, workflows, and product feedback.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships, and professional development, while contributing to congresses, mentoring, and best-practice sharing.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required in electrical or medical engineering or related scientific disciplines.
  • 5+ years of clinical EP experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of successful independent support of EP mapping procedures.
  • Analytical skills, solution-oriented and structured way of working and the ability to drive and finalize projects.
  • Full, clean drivers license

IBHRE or equivalent certification and ability to work in EP Labs and achieve vendor credentialing is a plus. Ability to work in a team and willingness to be flexible and travel as require as well as the ability to be independent, self-reliant and act with a sense of responsibility is an advantage.
