A Day in The Life Of:

In general, the following responsibilities apply for the Senior Software engineer role. This includes, but is not limited to the following:

• Complete assigned tasks within established deadlines
• Design and deploy CI/CD pipelines
• Design proactive monitoring and alerting
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
• Mentor assigned junior engineers focusing on project support and skill development

Key Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s L8 degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 2 years of experience
• Data Architecture, including schema development (JSON/Avro) and ERD-based solutions
• Experience working with CI/CD tools, preferably GitHub Actions
• Experience with IaC tooling, ideally Terraform
• Experience with AWS and AWS native tools including Glue, Athena, Lake Formation, Lambda
• Python (PySpark a big plus)
• Experience with open source tools such as Apache Spark and Iceberg
• AWS certifications a plus
• Experience working in agile teams using principles such as scrum and kanban
• Demonstrated experience automating routine tasks
• On call support experience
